We know. That’s quite a debatable heading. We analyzed a number of parameters on why
we think Bangalore is one of the best Indian cities to live in. To evaluate the livability standards of a city, we take into account the different stages of life for every individual. The first is schooling, followed by college, then work, and finally retirement. The reason why Bangalore does well is that it scores relatively high in all fours areas. Let us explain how:
Educational hub
Bangalore is jostling with young parents and parents-to-be. The city has a massive number of schools, many of which are the best in the country. There are many branches of the Delhi Public School. But that’s not all. The Bishop Cotton Boys School, The Valley School, Bishop Cotton Girls, Canadian International School, Baldwin Boys’ High School, Greenwood High International, and St Joseph’s High School are just some of the popular schools, offering quality learning.
Apart from the above, there are also schools that do not follow the traditional model of learning and teach students to be able to think freely. One such school is the Swaminarayan Gurukul School.
Bangalore is one of the best places for a career in engineering. Did you know the city itself has more than 260 engineering colleges? Many institutions are recognised all across India such as Christ University, Mount Carmel College, Ramaiah Institute of Technology, Bangalore University, RV College of Engineering, and others. The prestigious Indian Institute of Management is also located here, and students wanting to do research in science can study at the Indian Institute of Science. There are very few cities in India that can offer similar or more variety.
